Every story has a beginning....This is Ours.

Hi there.

I am Luna. Well... ok...Luna is not my real name, it’s my chosen name, my alter- ego, my inner self - whatever you want to call it. I am the creator behind the brand Luna + Grace. Well...if we're being honest, I am only half of what this brand has become.

It all started with my daughter - Lily Grace (Yes... she is my other half) - and a bold move to quit my corporate job of 15 years.

After returning to work when my daughter was 3 months old, I had a revelation. I did NOT want to do this anymore. This job, this life, this career was the old me. And just as we are reborn through motherhood, taking on a new role, a new way of being, a whole new self, I was also reborn - as Luna.

So I quit. No back up plan. No idea what I would do to make ends meet. But all I knew was that I needed to get out because it was slowly killing me from the inside and I did not want that to be my fate.

I tried some odds and ends for a few months. It got me by for a bit. I even started a prior business, but again, it wasn't really me, so I quickly shut that down. And then on January1, 2020 (well it sort of happened a little before that) I decided I was going to try my hand a wire wrapping.

I had always been intrigued by crystals, their energy, their essence, their beauty. I had seen others do this craft and thought why not? So I started out slow, played with the wire and made it my own. I became one with the wire. I spent countless hours bending and folding and swirling and studying the craft.

I won’t bore you with ALL the details of how I went though a whole heap of trial and error finding my way and starting my business, but just know that none of it came easy and there were plenty of blood, sweat, and tears that went into making Luna + Grace what it is today.

One thing I am continually learning is that it is perfectly ok to not know what the ________ you are doing. But the difference in one that is successful and one that is not, is that one will only find success if one keeps going. Yes, persistence folks.

If I could give one piece of advice, it would be to be persistent. Even if you persistently fail, you are continually discovering new ways of how not to do something, but one of those days, you’re going to find the thing that works. Persistence is also important because it forces you to get up each day and go after you goals, even if you are just taking one tiny step towards it, you are still doing SOMETHING.

So the moral of this story is....trust and have faith...and be persistent.

Now here I am.. Almost two years later into my new being, and still loving every minute of it. I am still being persistent and continually going after new goals because the killer of creativity is... you guessed it... complacency.

So new things are always in store for me, like starting out this blog for example.

A good friend of mine actually suggested it and I really want to thank her because she kind of reignited that writer’s spark in me.

But back to my story... Well.. actually why don’t I just leave you with a bit of mystery. If I spilled my guts all in the first post, what’s the fun in that right?

So I will leave you with a thank you for being here and thank you for actually reading until the end!

On that note, I bid you farewell until next post!

  • Luna, what an awesome little intro. I’ve been following since you launched this business- I’ve watched your craft evolve and I’ve been active in the community you’ve built. I love the creations I’ve purchased and look forward to those I’ve yet to acquire. Your craft is simply beautiful and your genuine nature makes Luna + Grace such a standout business! Thank you for all that you do.
